As your baby is growing inside the 50ml amniotic fluid mainly consists of water, the amount of fluid also increases with the growth of the baby. Amniotic fluid basically composed of the urine excreted by your baby. With the arrival of 10th week of pregnancy, the muscles in baby’s face begin to develop which are essential for sucking and chewing. By this week, your baby has developed distinguished fingerprints.

Development in 10th Week Pregnancy

The formation of the brain is almost completed by this time; however, the growth of the cells still continues. The palate and tooth sockets begin to develop. Though, placenta is not yet fully developed, the umbilical cord has developed completely till now and blood circulation has started through it.

Stomach and intestines are completely formed now and also the muscles of the digestive tract begin to function. At this stage, the sex of your baby is still not clear because the sex glands are still developing.

Appearance in 10th Week Pregnancy

In the 10th week of pregnancy, the most obvious growth is made in the head end of the baby where the face of the baby genuinely resembles human and his eyes are now moved from sides of the head to the front of the face with fully grown eyelids. Ears and mouth are still in the developing stage. Fingers and toes are now separated.

Movement in 10th Week Pregnancy

With the growth of the nervous system, the movement of the baby also increases. You may feel the small movements made by him.
