According to researches, the newborn baby is very familiar to his mother’s voice for the fact that he has become used to her voice while still muffled within the uterus. He is aware of your heart beats and stomach rumblings as well. Talking to him is a good idea as the amniotic fluid in which your baby is floating will conduct your sound to him.
Development in 15th Week Pregnancy
Though, the eyes of your baby are strictly covered by eyelids, he begins to become sensitive to light. In case your baby receives genes for dark hair, the cells of his hair follicles will produce dark pigments. Your baby keeps opening his mouth and gulps amniotic fluid ever now and then.
Appearance in 15th Week Pregnancy
By this week, the whole body of your baby adjusts in size relative to other parts. He now has his legs longer than arms; fine, downy hair (lanugo) begins to appear on his head. Eyebrows and eyelashes appear on his closed eyes. However, the skin of your baby is still very thin and partly transparent through which you can easily see the complex network of blood vessels.
Movement in 15th Week Pregnancy
Although, the size of your baby is yet so small that allows him to move freely in the amniotic fluid. He makes a lot of movements inside the fluid that help him exercise his muscles more and more and eventually making him stronger. These movements are yet not observed by you.
