Now, you have gone with 6 months of pregnancy and it is the time to help your baby in developing a connection between two halves of his brain. For this, you need to sing songs or nursery rhymes frequently and regularly. It has been seen that the baby’s best response comes against his mother’s voice.

Development in 25th Week Pregnancy

By this time, the weight of your baby will be measured about 680-850 grams. The development of the lungs continues as it is filling up with air sacs. However, presently these air sacs don’t contain any air rather filled with amniotic fluid. When your baby practices breathing, the amniotic fluid circulates through these sacs instead of air.

Appearance in 25th Week Pregnancy

The looks of the baby at this stage is pretty much like a newborn baby. However, his head is still out of proportion as compare to body because it is still large and yet not shaped properly. Because o f the low percentage of fats in his body, his arms and legs seem to be relatively thin.

Movement in 25th Week Pregnancy

As your baby is still encased in the amniotic fluid, he moves in this fluid freely with force and energy. He is now stretching his arms and legs more often. He also tries to grab his other body organs, stroke his head or sucking his thumb as well. These movements are good for his growth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I’ve been told that I’m definitely carrying a boy because of the shape of my bump. Is this true or not?

There are a lot of myths prevailing in the society regarding pregnancy and the myth about the shape of the bump is one of them, i.e. the bump to the front or all round shape indicates the sex of the baby. These myths have nothing to with reality. The fact is that there are several different causes for different bump shapes such as the position of the baby in uterus, your weight gain during pregnancy, your height and shape of your pelvis etc.
